    Arthur David VanAmber, 73, went to be with his Lord in Heaven on Saturday at his home in Pierce City. He was son of James Russell & Ethel Ruth (Fyr) VanAmber. He was united in marriage to Edith Breazzeal.

    He was retired from EFCO in Monett, served his country in the United States Army & was a member of the First Baptist Church.
    Arthur is survived by son: Shaun; plus siblings: Nellie Morris, Judy Etter, Ronald & Donald VanAmber; also 3 grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by both his parents & wife Edith.
    Graveside services at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery will be announced when finalized.
    Memorial donations for Arthur may be made to the First Baptist Church in Pierce City or to Hospice Compassus.

    Arthur David VanAmber , 73, of Pierce City went to be with his Lord in Heaven on Saturday June 27, 2015 at his home in Pierce City. He was born in Monett on January 26, 1942, the son of the late James Russell and Ethel Ruth (Fyr) VanAmber. He was united in marriage to Edith Breazzeal and she preceded him in death in 1999.

    He was retired from EFCO in Monett, served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pierce City, Missouri.

    Arthur is survived by one son: Shaun VanAmber of Branson; two brothers: Ronald VanAmber of Monett, and Donald VanAmber of Cape Canaveral, Florida; two sisters: Nellie Morris of Monett, and Judy Etter of Sarcoxie; and three grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by both his parents: James and Ethel and wife Edith.

    Visitation for Arthur is being held on Thursday July 2, 2015 from 6p-8p at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Graveside services at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery will be announced when finalized.

    Memorial donations for Arthur may be made to the First Baptist Church in Pierce City or to Hospice Compassus.

    Services for James R. VanAmber, 70, Monett, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Bennett-Wormington Chapel. Burial will be in Monett IOOF Cemetery. Mr. VanAmber died at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent's Hospital after a short illness. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday In the funeral home.

    David Van Amber, who had been a patient in the hospital here for the last two weeks, died this morning of pneumonia. He is survived by his brother, C.W. Van Amber of Turner, Mont., who will leave this afternoon with the remains for Truman, Minn., for burial.
