    Leslie Thomas Lucas (Les) 66 lived in Abilene Tx and died January 9, 2022 at home.

    He was born May 4, 1955 in Hood River Oregon to Clifford Clearance Lucas and Helen Katherine Lucas and had 5 sisters and 3 brothers who all live in Oregon.

    He went to school in Hood River Oregon. Then went to the army to serve for his country. Later went to college at LCC in Longview Washington.

    He loved football (Seattle Seahawks).

    He was always helping everyone out, giving anyone in need a place to go. He was a people person always making a friend.

    He was survived by two daughters Lacey Lucas of Abilene tx and Amber Lucas of Tye tx, a son in law Terry Howell of Abilene tx and a son Kyle Lucas.

    He had six grandchildren Krista Lucas from Abilene tx and Macie McCollum, Zane, Jacob, Kade, and Brooklyn Clay great grandchildren Angel and Aaliyah Quinones and Jackson McCollum. He had many nieces and nephews all from Oregon and lots of friends.

    He was preceded by Brian Lucas born August 17, 1977 - Died September 6, 2008 and Brianna Lucas born March 13, 1997 - Died November 14, 2018 and his loyal fur baby Abby.

    Services will be Tuesday the 18th at 2pm at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene Tx

    The funeral for Gerald Lucas, Sr., age 70, will be at 10:00 AM Monday, February 17, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom LeGrand officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

    Gerald was born to Clifford and Helen (VanAmber) Lucas on October 13, 1943, in Alexandria, Minnesota, and died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, in Enid.

    Gerald graduated high school in Hood River, Oregon. He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam war. In 1966 he married Alta Anthony, and they later moved to Enid 35 years ago. Gerald worked for the City of Enid and was a truck driver for several trucking companies.

    He is survived by his wife Alta; son Gerald Lucas, Jr. of Enid; two brothers, Clifford Lucas of Oregon and Leslie Lucas of Texas; three sisters, Helen Lucas and Georgia Donnelly, both of Oregon, Karen Gilkerson of California, and Susan Albrecht, of Oregon.

    Gerald was preceded in death by one brother
