  Note from Amy Seyfried (amysf@pacbell.net) dated 22 Jun 2000 1st Canajoharie Militia, Capt. Jost Dygert's Company, Colonel Clyde's Regiment. Appears in census of Indian Castle (Canajoharie Castle) of 1790. Shaver's notes say Nicholas' family data is based on record by Mrs. M.A. Hatch of Richfield Springs, who proved Nicholas' Rev. War service to the DAR.
