  	Mr. John Barrows, of Havana, father of H. A. Barrows, Esq., of Watkins, died suddenly in the former village on Friday morning last, at the age of seventy-six years. He and his wife had recently returned from a visiting tour in the West, and he was in his usual health, attending to chores about his premises, only a few moments before he died. He had just entered the doorway of his house when he fell to the floor; and in a few moments was dead. The deceased had been a resident of Havana for a great number of years, and was well and favorably known In that village. Burial in Montour Cemetery MAR. 23, 1882 Watkins Express
