Dear wife
here I am at Malone I shall put on the blue this fore noon I am going to stay here until this thing is seteld up they are going to keep me here in the guards I shall send my clothes home to Iola and you can get them there I saw em overocker on the cars yesterday and mrs bill butterfield tell tom to rite to me here direct your letters to Malone Franklin co I am well but very lonesome but still there is some hopes that I will be discharged yet kiss lina for me and give my respects to all rite soon and oblige
